حركة فتح (اختصار معكوس لحركة التحرير الوطني الفلسطيني) هي جزء رئيسي من الطيف السياسي الفلسطيني وأكبر فصائل منظمة التحرير الفلسطينية. تعبر في يسار الوسط. بشكل عام هي حركة علمانية ووطنية ولكن لا تطغى عليها الإشتراكية، أعلنت انطلاقتها في 1 يناير من عام 1965، ويشير مناصرو حركة فتح إلى هذا التاريخ على أنه “يوم تفجر الثورة الفلسطينية”.
في الإنتخابات التشريعية 25 يناير 2006، خسرت الحركة الأكثرية البرلمانية في المجلس التشريعي الفلسطيني لتفوز بها حركة حماس.
أسسها ياسر عرفات ومجموعة من رفاقه في الكويت في نهاية الخمسينيات من أجل تحرير فلسطين وظل يشغل منصب القيادة فيها حتى وفاته في 2004 حيث انتخب فاروق القدومي خلفا له، وفي الإنتخابات الرئاسية الأخيرة طرحت فتح محمود عباس ليكون مرشحها لرئاسة السلطة الوطنية الفلسطينية.
تعتبر حركة فتح إحدى أبرز حركات الشعب الفلسطيني في الوطن و الشتات، لعبت حركة فتح دورا رئيسيا في أحداث أيلول الأسود والحرب الأهلية اللبنانية، كما أنها خاضت محادثات السلام في أوسلو وواشنطن ومنشئة السلطة الوطنية الفلسطينية.
تستند حركة فتح في مبادئها على ان فلسطين أرض للفلسطينيين جميعا و هي أرض عربية يجب على كل أبناء العروبة المشاركة في تحريرها . قامت حركة فتح عبر تاريخها ممثلة بياسر عرفات بتقديم العديد من التنازلات.
تعتبر كتائب شهداء الأقصى ذراع عسكرية الحالية لحركة فتح، بدأت نشاطاتها منذ بداية الإنتفاضة الفلسطينية الثانية، بالإضافة إلى جماعة الفهد الأسود والجيش الشعبي التي نشطت خلال الإنتفاضة الفلسطينية الأولى. Al Aksa .

Fatah has nothing to celebrate.
If anything it should dissolve itself and apologize to the Palestinian people and to the Arab nation for the successive failures it has inflicted on the holy Palestine cause!
-It failed as a “revolution” starting with its abandonment of the liberation of all Palestine on which it was founded!
-It failed as a “state” with its despotic and corrupt rule
-And its major political move, Oslo, is the biggest failure of all .
Fatah served, knowingly or unknowingly, the Zionist cause when:
-It recognized the legitimacy of the “state ” of Israel
and
-Opened the door for Arab “normalization” with Israel
all for, against, nothing except a very limited self rule that unveiled its despotic character , brought into Palestine its intrinsicly corrupt bureaucracy and pandered to an undeserving leadership which paved the way for an undeserved personality cult of its failed leader .
If any decency remains in Fatah it should dissolve itself, disband its ultra corrupt “security ” services and APOLOGIZE, ASK for FORGIVENESS and disappear!
It has already inflicted enough ,immense, damage on the cause it purports to serve.
